OK, we admit...our business skills are better than our football.

It was great to see so many of you at the Mela over the weekend - to hear all those new business ideas, and to meet so many new entrepreneurs and Bradford business-owners.

Apparently several thousand people came to see the Kickstart team (you couldn’t miss us with those orange polo shirts!) so the two days flew by. The football challenge was a massive hit, and kept the youngsters (and some not-so-youngsters) entertained. So we owe a big THANK YOU to Kickstart clients Bobby Singh and Rowland Egege, founders of Bradford-based Pro-Active Sport, who provided the coaches, the football equipment and plenty of energy.

But the football wasn’t the whole story. We also had face painting, henna tattoos, hair braiding and nail sculpturing – plus a display from a Bollywood dancer. But, don’t worry if you missed us – we’re hoping to be at other big events over the summer including the Bingley and Keighley shows. See you there!
