Hi. My name is Lucy and I am the new Disablilty advisor for the Business Enablement Project.

The Business Enablement Project (BEP) was initiated as a pilot project in 2007 and now forms part of Bradford’s Local Enterprise Growth Initiative. Its aim is to reduce barriers to self-employment experienced by disabled people.

If you are disabled or have experienced sensory loss and would like to set up your own business in Bradford, we may be able to help.

The Business Enablement Project can provide funding to:
• Create accessible business premises at home or elsewhere
• Provide specialist equipment including computers, software and office furniture
• Overcome care needs
• Overcome communication barriers

We can also provide lots of free advice on how to make your business a success.
