14-17 YEAR OLD BRADFORD STUDENTS 'NETWORK' WITH BUSINESS LEADERS!

On June 24 students from four Bradford schools met business leaders in the first networking event of its kind at the Alhambra Theatre!
Students between 14 and 17 came from Challenge College, Manningham, Feversham College, Undercliffe, and Laisterdyke Business and Enterprise College.
After an introductory workshop they mixed with many business people, chatted about business and working life and were given sound career advice!
A presentation by Delroy Beverley, a director of Incommunities, the district's biggest housing provider was one of the attractions!
"Networking for their Success" was organised by Young Enterprise Bradford, key partners of Bradford Council's successful Kickstart enterprise support programme.
James Rand, development manager for Young Enterprise Bradford, said: "It enabled the young people to tap into a huge resource - the skills, experience and business nous of locally-based business people who are happy to give them some valuable tips and advice. We much appreciate business people from many different sectors giving up their time to network with these young people. If it is successful then we will do it again with different groups."
